Information Design Examples.















This poster was created by Timm Kekeritz which shows parts of their research data, to make the issue of virtual water and the water footprint perceptible and is about the Virtual Water content of selected foods and commodities. The design is simple as it only uses silhouettes and typography but yet it still gets the information across to the reader.





















This information design poster by Valentin Adam is all about representing the facts and figures of domestic violence. The graphics or charts form letters which have meaning in French which is the nationality of the designer.




















This information design example was designed by Allison Dahl from the Syracuse University which informs the viewer of the ingredients, contents and percentages of frozen drinks and desserts.

How To Make Toast Flowchart

How to make toast.
1.Place Toaster on hard and flat surface.
2.Plug toaster into power outlet.
3.Turn power outlet switch on.
4.Is indicator light on?
5.Place Bread in toaster.
6.Adjust the settings.
7.Push lever down
8.Is it toasted properly?
9.Let it cool off.
10.Has it cooled down?
11.Take out of toaster.
12.Place on a plate.

Examples of Web 2.0














Blogger.com

Blogger allows users to share their personal thoughts and allows other users/readers to add to that persons thoughts and either correct that person or agree with them.
















Youtube.com

Youtube allows people to upload their videos but is an example of Web 2.0 because it lets the viewers to comment on the videos.















Flickr.com

Flickr, just like youtube allows users to upload what they have captured but instead of videos it is a site for uploading photos.

Web 2.0 Definition

Web 2.0 is reffered to as the second generation of the World Wide Web, which is interactive allowing the viewers to share information instead of being restricted to just viewing the information like they are on most other sites.
